Tipping for the 21st century
uRocked Was the brainchild of a Heath group client that saw an opportunity in the cash-free society that had grown from the Covid 19 pandemic which had put a cap on carrying cash, especially to hospitality venues like cafes and restaurants although it was also added to Delivery drivers and Amazon drop-offs. The Client brainwave was a ‘tipping app’ built on a BETA structure to reward the server and customer alike. It was branded U-Rocked an accepted Oxford new-word tag that denoted excellent performance and the rest is history.
The App was easy to use, and providing the receiver was part of the growing network of tip rewarders, the operation was completed by 1% of the total bill amount being donated to Save the Planet or Battersea Dogs Home or indeed any charity the tipper signed up to. So, they not only rewarded the server for good service they also added incrementally to their selected charity to receive a reward and in return U-Rocked placed a similar amount into their own selected charity, WWF. Creative Interpartners took care of the look and feel of the APP the website and all the supporting Point of sale material.
The result was – and still is – a resounding success.
