Obtaining the set-books for a course at the beginning of any University or college course is always a struggle – because there are normally just a few sets of books available in the library than the many students needing them, so obtaining the material required within a module for reference or reading was a struggle for any student.

Talis was an idea created by a very bright post graduate start-up team who had the idea for an online system designed for every course’s reading requirement for a university or college course – which very quickly signed up to this brilliant concept.

That was in 1990, and our brand is still in place although their modus operandi has moved on with cyberspace technology and now embraces many other levels of learning from the very young to post graduate and MBA achievers.
